Hello Toddler Families!

Our Final "Hello" of the 25/26 school year.  It's hard to believe 9.5 months have passed so quickly.  Our toddler children have become big siblings, mastered toileting, enhanced their communication, and shown us who they are.  We have had the honor and the pleasure of watching their hearts and souls be exposed through their work, their friendships, and their moments of hardship and pride.

There is this magical quiet way when we, your Morahs, know without hesitation that our toddlers have taken on the classroom as their own, have learned to trust themselves, and have shown us who they are.  In the far left corner of the playground there is a large dome climber.  You've all seen it in person or in photos.  Each Autumn, our toddlers teeter around it, watch in amazement as the 3-6 kids climb, hang upside down, flip, or jump off of it. They explore with more security the jumper, the swing, the houses that are safely rooted in the ground. Winter comes and we spend less time outside and certainly less time climbing icy metal bars.  And then it's Spring.  Our children awake as the world around them blooms.  And then we see it.  They gravitate to the climber en masse.  It's where they spend all of their time.  They help each other if someone feels "stuck", they do all the same tricks they observed in the Autumn.  And that's how we know; they've done all the growing they can do with us.  This simple piece of playground equipment becomes the indication of a year well spent.  This transition brings us to tears in every beautiful way.

Thank you for a school year full of beautiful moments and wonderful laughter and perfectly timed chaos.  Thank you for trusting us with your most treasured tiny humans and allowing us to honor the horme and curious spirit in each one of them.  You gave us the gift of time, exploration, and wonderment with them.  Thank you for creating spaces and time in your homes and in your lives to explore the Montessori philosophy and principles.  What you have honored in them this year will contribute in the most beautiful ways as they grow and change.  Thank you for allowing us to nurture your darling children each and every day.  They have taught us more about life than we ever could have expected.

Thank you, for the magic of your children and the joy they have brought to our lives.

With all the love in the world,

Morahs Megan, Sarah, and K
