Dear Chai Tots Families,
This week in our infant class, we’re enjoying lots of moments of self-discovery through mirror work. The babies are noticing their reflections, watching their expressions and responding with curiosity and delight. These experiences support early self-awareness and identity.
We’re spending time pointing to the babies in the mirror, naming their features and identifying their reflections. This also ties into name recognition and helps the babies connect language with themselves and others. These small interactions build familiarity and confidence.
It’s such a joy watching their reactions as they explore who they are. We love witnessing these moments of discovery and growth.
