Hello, Toddler Families

What a beautiful first week back as the children explored work out that was specifically placed for each of them- from flower arranging, food preparation including peeling and cutting, three part animal body puzzles up to six piece puzzles, patterns in building, and small medium large.

As a goal to respect and honor the morning work cycle for your children, we close our classroom door at 9:05 so that a peaceful environment can exist as the children develop increased focus, executive functioning, decision making, and confidence in the classroom and their autonomy.  If arriving after 9:05, please help your children unpack their things into the labeled bins and then have them quietly enter the classroom for slippers and then work. You are, of course, invited to remain in the hall and observe as they so beautifully engage upon entering!

With the second half of the school year here, our dedication is steadfast to being quiet and still more, watch before acting, and trust that the children have the ability to ask for help as needed.  Our environment is designed to encourage fine motor steps with almost every work and your three Morahs zone themselves to ensure safety in all spaces of the classroom.

Thank you for continuing to dress in layers as we will get outside every chance we can.  There is so much to be explored outside in colder temperatures and with changing seasons.

We hope you are enjoying the start to 2026 and join us in watching who the children will become in the next five months!

Warmly,

Morahs Megan, Sarah, and K
